27th Riccione TTV Festival - Toni Servillo between cinema and theatre, a photographic tale

Comune di Riccione

Thanks to the collaboration with the Piccolo Teatro di Milano - Teatro d'Europa and Agenzia Teatri, the 27th Riccione TTV Festival is dedicating a special tribute to one of the greatest artists of Italian cinema and theatre, Toni Servillo. The Neapolitan actor will be the protagonist of three different projects ranging from theatre to cinema to photography.

The photography exhibition, to be held at Villa Franceschi from 25 September to 20 October, focuses above all on his cinematographic career, reconstructed through shots, several of which have never been seen before, the work of some of Italy's leading set photographers.
Divided into three sections ("In primo piano", "Compagne e compagni di ventura", "Tra scena e set"), the exhibition focuses on the most significant moments of the Campania actor's extraordinary career, from "L'uomo in più" (2001), his first meeting with Paolo Sorrentino, the director with whom he will form a long and celebrated association, well documented in the exhibition, to "Caracas" (2024) by Marco D'Amore, highlighting his eclecticism in moving from drama to comedy, from pain to laughter.

The exhibition opens to the public from 26 September, every morning from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is free.

The exhibition Toni Servillo between cinema and theatre is organised in collaboration with the Piccolo Teatro di Milano - Teatro d'Europa and Agenzia Teatri, with the contribution of Gruppo Hera, Romagna Acque and Conad.
